Brasserie Blanc – Bringing a Little Bit of France to Leeds Waterfront
A waterside venue, accordion musicians and the mouth-watering smell of nutella-filled crepes wafting through the air…No, no, you don’t have to buy a plane ticket to France for this Parisian experience, just get yourselves down to Brasserie Blanc during the festival!
Located on the riverside between Leeds Bridge and The Calls, Brasserie Blanc is a French-style restaurant offering authentic dishes in relaxed dining atmosphere. On the weekend of the 25th and 26th June, the Brasserie will become part of the festival with a distinctive event that will carry their French theme into the celebrations.
Food-wise, over the weekend the restaurant will be serving up crepes and patisserie-style cakes alongside a BBQ and food stalls outside on the terrace. If al fresco dining isn’t for you, normal service will be ongoing inside, but make sure you book, it’s sure to be busy one! As for the drinks, many of the cocktails will be £5 and there’ll be a beer/bubbly bike bar dishing out the drinks deals.
When it comes to entertainment, there’ll be something for everyone! Saturday will welcome some French Bistro accordion music to really set the scene, and Sunday will be hosted by The Speak Easy. This is an acoustic collective that play in York, Sheffield, Hull and Leeds monthly, and will be taking over the bar’s soundtrack from 2-6pm.
There’s so much going on! Don’t miss out on Brasserie Blanc’s celebrations during the festival and let them transport you to the French riverside.
