Where to watch Euro16 on Festival Weekend
The weekend of the Waterfront Festival falls right in the midst of Euro16 and we know there’ll be a few people out there that won’t want to miss the football. We’re hoping as much as anyone that England make it to the Round of 16, and if they do, there are a couple of great bars on the water side that will be showing the weekend matches, so you can enjoy both the festival and big games!
Sid’s Little Egg
Located just on the cusp of Leeds Bridge, Sid’s Little Egg has a downstairs sports bar, Downstairs at Sid’s, that’s the perfect place to catch a match during the festival. Close to the Brewery Wharf site, you can see the goals and then head there to join in the entertainment. Sid’s has an amazing range of gin and tonics as well as offerings of traditional and craft beer, so there’s a tipple for everyone!
With multiple HD screens, Aire Bar is a great place for watching England score those goals. Located on the Calls, it’s a stone’s throw from the Brewery Wharf site, and only a short walk to Leeds Dock, so you can slip straight back into the festivities after your celebrations.
Oracle’s Ground Floor Bar and Terrace has recently been refurbished in to The Kitchen, with rotating street food vendors, drinks and most importantly…football! Oracle is slap bang in the middle of the Brewery Wharf festival site, so you can even join in the entertainment at half time!
