All aboard with Radio Leeds!

All aboard with Radio Leeds!

Our team at Canal Connections has been enjoying a long sunny boat trip this week, hosting Radio Leeds presenter Richard Stead and his team on board our colourful graffiti boat 'Out and About'. It might have been a rainy start on Monday but things have certainly brightened up since then!

You can tune in to Radio Leeds every morning from 9 - 11am to listen to Richard's 'tales from the towpath' or catch up with all the fun on the barge, interviews and even bhaji making in the boats kitchen!

To catch up with events so far, visit Radio Leeds catch up. There's some great pictures of the journey too, take a look at Richard's Twitter feed for a run down of the week so far here.

There's still 2 days to go, you can catch the team tomorrow at The Rodley Barge pub in Rodley and at The Double Tree Hilton Hotel at Granary Wharf on Friday.

We'll be joining in the fun again on Friday, talking about the work we are currently doing to improve the tow path between Granary Wharf and Armley Mills Industrial Museum ahead of the bi-centenary celebrations on October 15th!
