Building on the success of last year the Leeds Waterfront Festival is back for 2010, and promises to be bigger and better than last year!
The festival, which aims to bring the waterfront to the heart of the city, is set to run over two days, and will take place over four key waterfront sites – Thwaite Mills, Clarence Dock, Brewery Wharf and Granary Wharf. It brings visitors and city dwellers down to the waterside to enjoy a fun-packed weekend of arts, culture, on the water activity and entertainment.
With last year’s event attracting over 6000 visitors to the waterfront, we are hoping for an even bigger turn out this year with our expansion along the Leeds Waterfront to include Granary Wharf.
The events festival will feature a broad mix of performances to appeal to all tastes, including jazz, rhythm and blues, street theatre, performers, bands, walks by the Civic Trust, on the water activity and dressed boats.
